Hello my sweet friend...I just read the beautiful and thought provoking post you did for me and I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate it! You approached this very touchy subject with so much thought and knowing you... prayer! Thank you! I know your words will encourage so many! Have a blessed day! Hugs, Donna
Hi Rebecca, I just read your post...you were right on the mark! It is so true! Thank you for sharing on this topic. I was one of these people for a brief moment and God brought it to my attention! Which I am so thankful for. It was SO freeing to get rid of "stuff" that I was accumulating and it felt great! I am not sorry one bit, and you know...I don't ever remember what I had! lol! I feel like I am much more organized now too! Does that make sense? I can walk into my house and feel relaxed. Have blessed SONday. Hugs, Sonya
Rebecca, Excellent article at Donna's, and so true. It is so easy to get sidetracked with things. I still battle that one, but my heart's desire is to have God be the most important thing in my life. I am glad He sees my heart, even when I fail He still loves me.
now, off the subject question: the papered wall in the little alcove (with coat rack on it). Are those dictionary pages?? Are they mod podged on? I have a new room at the store opening soon, and love the lok of that.
Hello I am late - I am late for a very important date... Yes, I missed the Where Bloggers Create party yesterday at my friend Kare...

Loved this Book by Julie Ferwerda!
Why did He fail to mention hell in Genesis as the price for sin? Why doesn’t the Old Testament ever speak of hell? Why does Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, never once mention hell? Why was hell not part of the established doctrine of the early Church after Christ? Why are the top theologians unable to agree if we are saved by election or free will? Why did Jesus purposely hide truth from the crowds and Gentiles?
Mother of 5 girls,1 son and 8 grandchildren, it is finally my time to nurture the artistic soul that lives within me. Not that I haven't throughout the years - goodness I couldn't have been more creative with 6 wonderful creatures to play, teach and mold into the wonderful people they are today. I loved it. My life is rich and full and I am thankful to the Lord for it but there is that ever nagging-tugging draw to the studio to create that next great idea. I have always loved all things old, the more tired and faded the better. Years ago I started Simply Posh with my daughter Jody. We closed and opened several shops, the last being Vintage Living. I am now doing workshops and speaking on Art through God. These days you will find me in my studio doing whatever comes to mind.
I have always believed that whatever road I take it is guided by the one who loves me and died for me...Jesus Christ and through Him all things are possible. This blog was started for several different reasons which have changed throughout the years but one thing has remained, my love for the women here and the chance that I might inspire and return the inspiration I have so enjoyed here.
