The Magnitude and circumstances of this tragedy have left me numb. I cannot even comprehend the degree of sorrow & loss the Loved Ones and Community must be experiencing... and most especially during what should be a Season of Love & Goodwill rather than absolute horror. Our Prayers as a Nation are with them all.
Thank you Rebecca. It's so sad here in Ct but at the same time you can feel the tender hand of our Lord all around. I wrote a story of Hope about Newtown that appeared in the Newtown Patch. Go to my blog and read it if you'd like. Wishing you a blessed Christmas! Terri
Rebecca, Good post. With all that's going on in the world I find myself crying a little more & having a hard time being joyous. This time of year always brings both joy and sadness to me for the loss I've had. I pray next year is a peaceful one for the world. I'm grateful I got to spend time with you last month. Your a wonderful friend. I hope you & your beautiful family have a merry & healthy holiday. Lisa

Loved this Book by Julie Ferwerda!
Why did He fail to mention hell in Genesis as the price for sin? Why doesn’t the Old Testament ever speak of hell? Why does Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, never once mention hell? Why was hell not part of the established doctrine of the early Church after Christ? Why are the top theologians unable to agree if we are saved by election or free will? Why did Jesus purposely hide truth from the crowds and Gentiles?
Mother of 5 girls,1 son and 8 grandchildren, it is finally my time to nurture the artistic soul that lives within me. Not that I haven't throughout the years - goodness I couldn't have been more creative with 6 wonderful creatures to play, teach and mold into the wonderful people they are today. I loved it. My life is rich and full and I am thankful to the Lord for it but there is that ever nagging-tugging draw to the studio to create that next great idea. I have always loved all things old, the more tired and faded the better. Years ago I started Simply Posh with my daughter Jody. We closed and opened several shops, the last being Vintage Living. I am now doing workshops and speaking on Art through God. These days you will find me in my studio doing whatever comes to mind.
I have always believed that whatever road I take it is guided by the one who loves me and died for me...Jesus Christ and through Him all things are possible. This blog was started for several different reasons which have changed throughout the years but one thing has remained, my love for the women here and the chance that I might inspire and return the inspiration I have so enjoyed here.
